Langdowns DFK Directors, complete the London Triathlon

3 Langdowns DFK Directors completed the London Triathlon on Sat 1st August 2009, beating personal bests and smashing fundraising targets in aid of The Honeypot Charity. 

Team Langdowns included Tax Director Graeme Lovell who set the pace swimming the open water 1,500m in the London Docks, Chief Executive Bob Law then took up the gauntlet cycling 40km before handing over to Director, Graham Taylor who ran the last 10km.

The team finished in 3 hours 13 minutes, beating their target by 17minutes.

Graham Taylor said: "It was a great day and really well organised, with around 400 teams taking part in our event alone, and shorter, sprint ones going on all around us too, it was very busy - particularly the swimming for Graeme.......how he survived that start I'll never know.

It was very hard work but we have got the bug and are already talking about Barcelona next year, and breaking that 3 hour mark!  We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have raised much needed funds for a very good cause."
