MAJOR EXPANSION FOR HAMPSHIRE ACCOUNTANCY FIRM

Hampshire-based chartered accountants and business advisors Landgowns DFK has bucked the current economic trend and increased its workforce by 50%, completing a year of major expansion.

Amid ongoing success in an increasingly tough marketplace, the company has merged with the recently-expanded Eastleigh-based chartered accountants, Newman & Co, and acquired the Andover-based accountancy practice, Michael J Miles & Co. Langdowns DFK, which has its Head Office in Leigh Road, Eastleigh, now employs 53 highly-skilled staff and the number is set to rise as it continues to expand further. Former Newman & Co. directors, Nigel Newman and Claire Thorpe-Manley, have joined the Langdowns DFK board of directors, taking the number from six to eight.

This significant growth firmly positions Langdowns DFK as one of the leading accountancy forces in Hampshire, now with established, easily-accessible offices in Eastleigh, Basingstoke and Andover.  The additional expertise puts the firm in an even stronger position to help businesses of all sizes in Hampshire deal with the current economic climate. Its client list ranges from private individuals, sole traders and small businesses, such as taxi drivers, decorators and family-owned shops through to multi-million pound organisations, employing more than 300 people.
